Northern Cardinal
Here are a few more shots from south Texas. I have a lot of species I am still going through, so I thought sharing a species at a time might be a cool way to present these shots

Terrific series, Kurt, I think my fav is the last one, or maybe the last three.

Oh, Mommy, what a collection. I love these birds as they were often at feeders outside my Grandmother's kitchen window in Wichita Falls, Texas when I was growing up. I think I like the last 6 the most. :toast: :toast:

I like 4 the most and also its airborne water, but the last creates a nice laugh of enjoyment.

Terrific series, indeed! That pond is the gift that keeps on giving with your work.
I like each and every single one of these images, but #6 is also my favorite. Something about the leaf perched above the bird's head in #1 just adds so much to that composition. Professional caliber work, Kurt!

You did it again! Awesome work Kurt. I love number 6.

PS: The camera is working out just great...it's definitely an adjustment getting used to non-crop factor when choosing a lens. Took a couple test shots Sunday and was impressed for sure.
