Cedar Breaks Sunset - Southwest Utah
This is the sunset light and colors I was hoping to get two weeks ago tonight when I was making images from one of the overlooks in Cedar Breaks National Monument in southwest Utah. The clouds and sun obliged that night and put on a wonderful show for me. Elevation 10, 430 feet.

Great job Wayne, congratulations on the clouds and light. That's another place I need to get to someday. I didn't know it was such high elevation,

Hey Wayne, nice capture. I especially like the shadow lines through the middle of the breaks. The lower left corner seems a little dark - but, what can you do about mother nature and her sunsets ?

Thanks guys. Merle, with respect to the lower left corner being dark, I figure if mother nature can paint this good who am I to change the canvas?

I concur - It's nice to see nature actually shown as nature and not as someone wishes it was.

Have a good trip and keep posting. :wavey:

Incredible image! You captured a triple "WOW" factor...the color is magnificent, especially in the large image.

Great capture Wayne. I especially like the rising lines from left to right.

Beautiful color and I like the inclusion of Brian Head peak in the distance. Really an outstanding shot, Wayne. :toast:

That is a neat and under visited area. Show us more!
