A week ago in the Skagit Valley during the early morning light. Got in a few shots before the crowds took over.

Beautiful layers of color and a very pleasing composition, Harad. Personally, I would have tried to not cut off that treetop at the upper right. I too visited Skagit Valley a few weekends ago and the crouds were maddening.
Hi Mahesh and Erik,
Thanks for your comments.
I considered including the tree top on the right, but it was so tall that the comp changed to include too much cloudless sky at this focal length. The image appeared stronger with the horizon line higher and more tulips in the foreground, just a compromise.
Sure was a challenging year for photographing the Skagit Valley tulip fields.
The fields were more sparse, and the weather was mostly uncooperative. The few weekend days with less rain saw large crowds descending on fewer fields. Still we had fun spending a weekend there.

I didn't make it North to see these... a fine composition and I agree with cutting off the tree to limit a cloudless sky from taking too much of the frame.

Nice colors and composition aside from the tree being cuttoff. I really like it!
