Rather dark perhaps but those brights look ready to clip. Has a touch of the Mr Robinson about it :biggrin:

This is nice Keith. Maybe there is some more detail that could be brought out of the blacks (especially to the right of the bird), but an attractive bird and a nice splash of colour.

A nice pose but the light doesn't appear to be doing you any favours, maybe a little tender loving care with the Shadows and Highlights will help...

Yes, I have to agree with Phil. It is a great shot, but it needs some attention to the shadows to bring out the detail.

Thanks for the tips,i think i might have made a bit of a mistake i deliberately decided to have a dark bg to help the bird stand out more.Is this any better?.
