Wet Long Beach Eagle

If you visit Long Beach and the surrounding area don't let the rain spoil your photographic endeavors. Saw 9 eagles on or near the beach this morning on a 5 mile stretch.

Sounds like a great area for shooting eagles. I'll have to check it out. I like the drenched eagle effect. An even closer crop would add a kind of editorial element to it. I can't see bald eagles without thinking about it as a national symbol (grew up closer to D.C. than to any eagles) and seeing them bedraggled always seems poignant.
