Water is everywhere around us..streams, lakes, rivers, waterfalls. This months theme is water in motion. Show us your images and creativity in various water forms. Let your imagination go with abstracts as well. Wildlife photographers should have some great captures in this theme too. I'll start with a couple of recent shots I took.

Here's another abstract I captured a few weeks ago on the South Platte River
Jack, a familiar scene right? Nice topic, I immediately thought of this day at Crystal River Mill last June 19th. I spent the night up at the Mill and enjoyed a huge run-off event. I got pretty low for this shot and continously had to fight off mist on my lens.
Sorry for the re-post, but I think this one fits pretty good for this month's theme. I have a lot of others, but this was my favorite for water movement. I will post more as well though since this is a re-post.
Seems there are a few outside the confines of the RMNP area so I'll toss mine in. One from my current trip that I haven't posted yet. The Sol Duc River on the Olympic Peninsula, Washington.
Boy, stiff competition around here! I've got a little series assembled, all from the central Idaho wilderness. First up, gently moving water, Middle Fork of the Salmon.
Unnamed, and for the most part, unknown falls somewhere on the Flat Tops. I try to get to these at least once a year since the canyon they're in have a couple more falls.

Wow, I knew there would be some awesome entries here! This is from one of my favorite places - North Clear Creek Falls. It was a challenge keeping the lens mist-free to take this shot.

So many wonderful images. The talent level here is truly amazing. I'm feeling a bit humbled but here's another one from my recent trip. Ponytail Falls in the Columbia Gorge.

This is from Left Fork North Creek in Zion with some heavy spring runoff.

One from Cuyahoga Valley NP near Cleveland, Ohio. I used to live pretty close to the park.

Here are a few older ones. I need to shoot more moving water. Especially after last night's maelstrom here in Parker.
The first one is the Grandaddy of them all...Upper Yellowstone Falls.
