I was up at RMNP yesterday and saw more elk then I have ever seen before. They were everywhere and I got lots of shots. This one is my favorite. This bull was munching on grasses and trees among cabins and was difficult to capture without distracting cabins, rail and roads. He finally reached up to grab some leaves and bingo I had a decent shot.

The first thought that crossed my mind when I saw this was 'Cool!'.
Hate to be repetitive, but when it's cool, it's just plain cool.
