After waiting months since I paid for the thing, I finally got my NPN hat.
It doesn't fit me. Now I have a decently large head, but the thing that's disappointing is the hat is designed wrong. I can extend the adjustment strap on the back to what should fit me, but then the rest of the hat is such that it won't slip over my head. In other words, the largest head that the hat fits on would have plenty of length left on the adjustment strap. Every other hat I've owned can be extended to about the end of the strap.
Curious if others have had any troubles.
The unusual time to wait plus this design flaw is quite disappointing.

This is the same hat we've been offering for about 10 years, just with the addition of the RG letters on the back. We don't sell that many but at the same time we've haven't had any negative feedback on it either. I just tried one of the extras we ordered and once I adjusted the strap, it fit me just fine. Donna has one she wears all the time while gardening, so I'm thinking (and hoping) your experience is the exception and not the rule.
My cap arrived today and fits OK. I think any problem may be encountered by those with those with larger heads/hat sizes as the sides of the low crown cap taper inward as the hat goes up. I have another low crown cap (not the NPN cap) that the sides above the band are pressing against the head even with the adjustment strap completely loosened. My hat size is 7 5/8.

I wonder if the fit is related to a low-rise crown.
