Hi everyone,
I have a minolta camera system from my early days, I also have Rokkor 28mm, 135mm, and a 58/1.4 mm lenses. Is there any way I can use these with a Canon 5DMK2? Or should I just keep them as Collector items with my Minolta cameras, SRT101. Thanks for the input.

Danny - You can adapt just about any lens to any mainstream modern mount these days, but generally speaking you don't have autofocus, and you may have to use stop down metering. But other than that they usually work pretty well.

Here's one available on Amazon.

I thought that the Sony bodies can use the Minolta mounts? That may no longer be true.

Seems to me that he lens quality today is so far advanced compared to the '60s and '70s technology of the SRT 101 days. I had an SRT 101 as my first "real" camera. It was a great body.

Sony Alpha (not NEX) uses Minolta lenses but only the A bayonet - that is where the name comes from ;) It means all the auto focus lenses that you could use with the Minolta Dynaxx system. Your Rokkors you could use I thinkwith the Sony Nex if you buy an adapter. You can easily find some on eBay. Just after taping "Rokkor Nex" on eBay I found one for 25 dollars
