Early Frishman man and serpent
My wife and I had a mini-vacation with one day in Santa Fe before heading down to Amarillo for my oldest grandson's graduation from high school. So, I contacted Jackson Frishman, who lives there, to see if we could meet up for a sunrise shoot. He agreed and picked me up at the hotel and took me to an area with petroglyphs just outside of town. There was a great variety of very clear and ancient petroglyphs, and we had a good time shooting them. Jackson is a kind, intelligent, and well traveled individual. I enjoyed our time together a great deal, Jackson, and look forward to shooting and talking (photo)shop with you again sometime.

Since Jackson is 33 I thought "Early" Frishman man was appropriate.

He has some great shots of the glyphs including a mountain lion, and parrots on his website. Check them out when you get time.

Nice, Morris, that silhouette idea you had was great! And thanks again for getting in touch, made my week! But jeez, those shots are so buried in the neglected bowels of my web site, I'm amazed you found them. To save everyone an exercise in frustration, here they are: Puebloan Parrots.

And the mountain lion.

And the man himself at work in the sunrise!

Hey, Jackson is sneaky, too. I didn't even notice he took this. Of course, I'm noticing less and less these days.

Super cool shots of the parrots and puma. :toast:
