Black Cap+ canvas add
Coming down to drink or bathe.Over weeks have been training this Hazel branch down over the pool, a bit at a time. A lot of stuff now using it as they come in. Bit of a change from doing them in the water.

Hi John,

Great, natural-looking portrait. I just wonder if a little more space below, for the bird to look into, would have helped?

I tend to agree with David here, but lovely to see nonetheless.

The pair at the local site near me wouldn't venture from the bushes at all ......

Thanks both. Yes I agree - bottom of the frame though. Could stretch it a bit but would look odd.

Lovely looking image, sharpness and clarity are very good. That pool of yours just keeps giving, John.

Tried it with added canvas but not made a good job. Not sure if its worth doing a proper job.
WDYT.

I think that all depends on what other blackcap images you have, John. I don't have any of an adult male, and I would certainly consider this shot worth the effort. I don't think you have made a bad job as it is.

Both images are great JR and to be honest if you hadn't told me the second post had been added to I don't think i would have known. IMHO it is worth "doing a proper job" as you put it.
