Better late than never - Moab Spring Fling shots
I had a great time at the spring fling in Moab meeting everyone else and shooting of course. I came away a number of new images some of which I'm really happy with. Thanks Bret for showing us the amazing Castle Valley View! Jack and I then went to Bryce for the eclipse and got some killer star shots as well. Here is a series of my images, some I like more than others

#1. Castle Valley View

In #1, the softer last light on the near ledge and the purples of the valley work well. This too is my favorite of the set.
I like the sunstar you caught in #3 from Grandview. To me, the bottom half of the image looks a little bright and needs some contrast added.

Jason, Those are outstanding images. #1 just blows me away. Nice work.

#4 is by far my favorite, followed by #1. At first glance I was taken in by the colors and the ruggedness of the subject, but then I noticed the detail across the top of the window. How odd that someone took the time to craft an ornate topper to what appears to be a window in a rustic cabin. Fantastic!

All I can do is echo the others. #1 is absolutely gorgeous, but I also like #'s 2, 7 & 8 quite a bit, too.
Especially like the understated colors of the Fisher Towers in #7, while I prefer #6 Grandview over #3.
And all of them show an excellent eye for a compelling composition!
