Song Thrush
Thanks for the comments on my last image.

This was one taken at Kensington Gardens in March. I was specifically there for the Great-crested Grebes, but they weren't performing except for one silhouette shot I got first thing, so I turned my attention to a pair of Song Thrushes which were flying down onto the grass next to the path to collect worms for their young.

Techs:
Nikon D300s
Nikon 200-400mm f4
Handheld
F5.6
1/125s
ISO 640

Oscar

A fine image top level the dew or rain drops just add that extra touch.

Very nice image Oscar, just the right amount of mush at the bottom of the image and plenty of space for the bird. Nice soft lighting too. Well caught! Have you any with worms in its beak?

Thanks Barry and Nick. Nick, no I haven't unfortunately as it would land fairly near the path which I was lying on, and then gradually make its way further away as it collected worms, before flying back over my head!

Can't fault it, Oscar. And as already mentioned, the lighting is just about perfect :toast:
