BTW, does this need a darker background to be on?

It's a pretty soft shadow line---perhaps because of the haze? A bit of it is visible on the left side of the moon. It's funny you mention it, as I haven't thought of it not being that obvious since I was there watching the moon sink... Hmmm... Maybe I should post a clearer image of it sometime...

Alright. Here's a pic with the actual eclipse clearly visible. This was taken a bit earlier...
