Man, this is an ugly fire and will only get uglier. Driving in from the Tetons today we first saw the smoke plume from about 50 miles west of Laramie. We made it down 287 as far as Owl Canyon before getting detoured. Let's say a prayer for all the men and women on the fireline and all the folks who have had to leave their homes and their lives.

And just before we got to Owl Canyon the thing blew up.

Your right Bill this is an ugly fire. Several people that we know have been evacuated. For sure we will be praying for those involved especially the fire personnel. The wind has been blowing all day which certainly hasn't helped.

Awe inspiring shots, Bill. And, yes, praying they will all be safe, and that the winds will die down.

That second image is just plain scarey looking. Nice job of documenting the fire Bill.
