Well, this is the waterfall in all its glory that I took the photo of the Grey Wagtail sitting on. Lovely river this, had several waterfalls along it but this was the nicest looking I thought. Unfortunately I didn't have the right attachment for the ball head I was using so I had to rest this on Colins camera bag(!), as such the framing isn't as spot on as I would have liked but sometimes you just have to improvise :)
Also, it was pretty bright at this point and I only had 1 ND filter on me and no polariser so it was VERY hard to get a slow shutter speed, having to wait for the sun to go behind a cloud to get under 1 second. I would have liked a slightly longer shutter to smooth out the foreground water a little more and perhaps if I had a polariser I could have got a bit more colour out of the sky. However, I do still like this image as it reminds me of a great day out! Plus it has really got me in the mood for the week long holiday in the Scottish Highlands this friday, again with Colin + family

I quite like it, but it not hepled by the trees in the BG, might suit a portrait crop and tighter in on the water fall.
