Great Egret (Casmerodius albus)
A real bonus in my book is when you're priviledge to witness behaviourial treats. From my perspective this was one of them. I've been fortunate in seeing more than my share of Herons / Egrets but never in this mode.

I like shots like this,bathing birds are one of my favourites,i think you have lost a bit of sharpness with the bird going through its bathing routine and and the reeds to the left have not helped you with the composition having said this i do think its a very good behavioural shot..
