Lightroom 4 Issues Resolved?

I'm ready to upgrade from LR3 to LR4. I've waited since the original LR4 was released because I read about some problems with the software. I know that Adobe has since released a LR4 update to take care of those problems. So my question is to those of you who are using LR4.1: Is the software now working properly??? I don't want to upgrade until the bugs have been worked out. My brother is still having problems with LR4.1, so I'm wondering if this is just his computer issues or still software issues. I did the same as you are doing....waited until 4.1 was released before upgrading.

I am not having any problems with 4.1 but that isn't to say that you won't. From the reading I've done it sounds like most are trouble free and some are not....whether it's a software or hardware issue or a compatibility issue between the two is hard to say.

LR 4.1 is a tremendous program. The changes made in the Develop module are a big improvement over previous versions.

The only problems I had was using it with CS5. Since I upgraded to CS6, no problem. It certainly is a positive advance over LR3.

I hadn't any problems with v.3.0, nor have I had any with LR 4 or 4.1. I'm using it on 3 different computers that run PS CS 4, 5.5, and 6 and I've never had any issues. I really like the finer control over images that the new develop module provides, and I like the changes in the Lens Correction panel in the 4.1 update. I'll admit, got so used to working with LR 3 that it took me a while to get used to the changes in LR4, but I agree with Phil that LR 4 is a big improvement.

I have been using LR from day one and I'm currently up to 4.1 with CS5 and 6 and I'm running it on 3 different Macs without any issues, so I don't know what "problems" some users are talking about. What am I missing here? javascript:%20x()
