D800 - some CF cards don't work

That's weird Sandy, in that there seems to be no common thread. I would have expected a size or speed or brand correlation. One thing I'm wondering if anyone has tried is a bunch of copies of the same card, to see if it's a flakiness issue, or something more repeatable. I couldn't find anything online yet to that extent.

Rob Galbraith did his usual speed testing on a D800 with a long list of cards and they all worked fine. Seems to be an unusual issue.

With so many counterfeit cards for sale on eBay who knows what some of these bad cards might be. If it was my survey I'd ask everyone with a card that didn't work exactly where it came from.
