I went back to a neat little Prairie in the heart of Fort Smith this morning before sunrise. I found this neat little Prairie last July. This view was taken just before sunrise and the temperature was already 80!

Beautiful shot, Tom. That is an amazing display of wildflowers. I like your comp here and the vibrant color is excellent. I'm sure this is a treat to experience on a quiet morning.
Great capture Tom.
I especially like the white line of flowers or light reflections through the photo before the dark back drop of trees. This and the trees lend a distinct depth to the photo.

Now that's what I call a field of wildflowers ... and in their prime too. Good stuff Tom. Everything ok with your place out in CO?
Thanks for the comments. Wayne the Colorado cabin is fine right now. Most of the wildfires seem to be at lower elevations. There was more moisture above 9000 feet and above.
Rod, the white flowers in front of the trees are actually Queen Ann's lace.

Great colors and a fine patch of flowers. Great find.
I'd say you caught these at their peak, or just a tad past...really nice shot. Like everything else this year, the blazing star seems to be a bit ahead of schedule.
Thanks, Dottie, I drove by this field last Saturday and it had been cut for hay, the flowers are gone! I guess I was lucky to catch them just a week earlier.
