Singing Sedge Warbler
D7000 500mm f4 ISO 100 1/000s at f8, tripod

Taken on Mull. A pair of Sedge Warblers were nest building close by the holiday cottage and the male (I think) was using the bramble as a look out post while the female was visiting the nest. Very confiding birds. All C+C warmly welcomed and many thanks for the comments on my bluebottle!

Nick.

Very nice, composition and perch are nice, the only minor nit is a catchlight in the eye would have been nice...

Nice to catch it that far out in the open, they usually stay well into the greenery for me.
