Sedge Warbler II
D7000 500mm f4 ISO 200 1/1250s at f10 tripod

Taken on another day and from a different position. Not singing but does have a catchlight (Natural)! Many thanks for your comments on my first post. All C+C warmly welcomed.

A fine portrait, Nick. It does look a wee bit dark, but I am viewing it on an uncalibrated monitor.

I agree with David - teeny bit dark but no big deal- maybe just a smidge with the shadow tool. At least its got
some "beef" to it which is better than being washed out ( And its got a catchie !)

Lovely image Nick, the birds eye is fab. What are the darker wavey lines to the left hand side though?

Many thanks for your comments folks, greatly appreciated!

Paul, from memory it is some plant stems a way back from the perch.

Catch light was all that was missing on the previous shot Nick, so this one looks brilliant. :toast:

But I have to say I prefer the comp and BG in the first post.
