Black is beautiful
I though I'd post something other than wildflower, sunrise or fire pics. I've been watching this little guy for about a year. S/he is on my way to town and occasionally we cross paths. This is my first attempt at embedding a photo, so suggestions are definitely welcome.

Those eyes are great on that little critter Monika. The streak of light through the grass behind the animal is unfortunate. You might crop from the right side so that the fox is looking into the larger part of the frame. Keep shooting. Those guys are beautiful.

On the contrary, I think the light is great as it's exposed well, breaks up the expanse of dark grass and helps add definition to the fox.
My only suggestion would be to post a larger version.

Thanks for the suggestions. I hadn't been sure where to crop. Let me know what you think of this.

Now that's much more like it (sizewise)! I failed to see the crop suggestion, but it was a good one.
I like the square format here. I've never seen a black fox before and I think you did a great job capturing this one and it's pose.

Consider adding '+repost' to your title to lure a bit more traffic.

Those auburn/cinnamon eyes stand out nicely. The band of sunlit grass really draws attention to his black head. There was a blackish fox by Clear Lake two summers ago; wonder if he's still around.

I think the centered crop works well here. Love those eyes!

Beautiful indeed! The eyes are quite wonderful and the crop is a great improvement on the image. Please post some more!
