The Warthog!
The good old Warthog, a great character in terms of watching and to photograph in my book. Again, some people may wish for more space below for the 'virtual feet,' but for me it's all about the face and the character of this animal.

And in case I missed anyone, many thanks to those that took the time to view & comment.

God it's like looking in the mirror

Can't really find owt wrong matey - from my own perspective 'virtual feet' only really matter if the legs are more visible/more in focus; if you hadn't mentioned them I doubt I'd have noticed.

A minus

Now if it had been horizontal with an open sweep of Savannah to the right I might have sprung for an A+  :toast:

Reminds me of: 'He needs to pull his socks up, slacking a little this term'. I will see what I can do.

The virtual feet missing does not bother me, the head is the interesting bit in a warthog and you have got all of it in focus with a great pose as well. One of my all time favourite animals, thanks for sharing.

Hi Phil, no lion around at this this time, they are very feisty and unless the predator has the advantage, they tend to be safe and left to forage. The tusks are used well and once in their hole, they a formidable animal. :wavey:

Thats a really nice portrait of a warthog. In fact its one of the best I have seen. The inclusion of the grass in the foreground is a very nice touch of environment.
