Hi,

These were not a target species on our trip to mid wales but a welcome addition, they are present in the south east but I have never been able to frame a decent image of one, so qute happy now as they are splendid looking little birds, even in the rain....

All the best

I can't remember the last time I saw one of these - isn't he a stunner :toast:

My only slight niggle would be a somewhat 'naff' end to the perch but it's not too noticeable, and that BG makes up for it in spades

I haven't seen one for a while if it comes to that, but this is a great shot of one.

Cracking shot Phil but the perch does detract from the image a little. Great BG does make up for it as already mentioned.

Fantastic shot. As Andy said, the perch ending is a little abrupt. But it works very nicely overall. A cracking picture IMHO. :toast: :toast: :toast: :toast:

Phil

A little cracker sir, it's the bird not the perch. The bird has the choice of perch.
