Mountains of the Northwest
A sampling of the gorgeous mountains we have in the Northwest. I love the capture of the moment in time where we can continue to gaze for years to come. After all, photos are for gazing are they not?

Oh! YES!
Love the light quality, the gradients of color in the layers of the mountains and, here, the symmetry works nicely.

I echo Catherine's ecstatic reaction...beautiful and serene. Scenes like this are one of the main reasons I live here! You're printing this large I assume?

Yes I will be printing it large when the time comes. I have two other images I am printing large right now. Thank you for the comments.

I'll fall right in line. The simplicity of the lighting with the wonderful symmetry is beauty Dean.

Well, ditto what everyone else said. My eye is taken right thorugh to the valley.

Love this shot, Dean. I like how you picked up the colors and mountain layers in the reflection, too.

I love the simplicity of this image Dean. The subtle colors and small ripples in the water make this one excellent. Well done.
