Havent been able to backpack or even seriously hike lately, so ive been doing some road trips.
Here's a set from Mt Evans last week.

Stan, 2 and 8 are my favorites. I was up there about 2 weeks ago for the first time, not sure why I have not made this trip before?

Two great minds with but one thought.

I was just up there last Tuesday. I like #2 and #7 the best.

7 is my pick of the bunch. This wildfire smoke has killed my summer so far. I see it haunted your conditions too. At any rate it's nice seeing your stuff again.

Great series of images Stan, hard to pick a favorite one.

Being able to get so close to the mountain goats has to be fun, especially with the kids.
7 is my choice from the set. The lake in 6 looks like it may have some sunset possibilities.

The goat pictures and #7 are excellent!

Beautiful shots Stan. Reminds me of the Beartooths where the goats follow you around waiting for you to urinate than licking it up. They even spend the night in your camp. At least you got a clean camp. Okay you got me, what are Bacon Poppers and where can I buy them?

Great stuff all around! That Abyss Lake shot I really like.

I totally dig the second shot of the goats. Feels like if they came rushing down that mountainside you'd have nowhere to take cover. Good thing they prefer "salt licks" to human flesh, unlike killer tomatoes.
