WOW guys, thank you, I had a chuckle a little while back when I think Phil H posted a Puffin very similar to this, but without the sand eels, however no PS work was done to get to this image.
David it was at Farnes.
Andy, if only I had a shot of that. Processing, well I listen to my Elders and sift the advice given.
Yes. A perfect example for us all to admire. Nice one Steve. When were you on the Farnes? I bumped into old friends Mr and Mrs Forns on the Farnes last week!
LoL... Nice... Haven't been able to make a trip to any stronghold this year due to pressure at work... (hehe) I think you could perhaps raise the whites ever, ever so slightly, blacks are looking spot on, the lift in the whites would give a tiny boost in the contrast keeping all the detail... Me off course I would flip horizontally, whether that is a good thing or not, I don't know, I always feel more comfortable with an image that moves in the same direction that I read... Still a great image of a super bird and with a good beak full...
looks flawless to me Steve, certainly one of the best images of its kind that I've seen. Brilliant.
Phil's comment about flipping horizontally so the subject is looking to the right is interesting as it's something I always do as well, but I did wonder if it was just me!

Can't fault it Stevo - exceptional processing, and not too shabby a shot either
A pleasure to view.
