Wildflowers are hard to find up there....small pockets way up the hill from the old buildings, near the streams, otherwise very sparse and burnt. Got these 2 images today:
I agree with Morris that both are strong, and #2 especially. Goes to show that you don't need an epic field of blooms to get a compelling shot. I think a crop down on #1 would work well as the sky isn't doing much except taking emphasis away from the flowers. On my monitor, things looks a scoche dark - could just be my own preference for a slightly brighter presentation. Running these through John M.'s image polish technique would add a bit of snap to them.
#2 is my favorite here too. I don't mind the rock on the top left and wouldn't worry about any cropping. The white flowers in the top right help to balance the image as it is currently framed. It appears to be a nice, healthy spread of flowers there; glad to see there are some good blooms in Mayflower despite the heat. I agree with Rick that these look a bit dark on my monitor too but you're not too far off.

Yeah, they do look a little dark. I did these on my laptop and I forgot to turn the brightness down while I was working on them and that would have made the difference.
