Roadside Attraction
Took this a few weeks back when I went to MRNP. Just a roadside falls off of rte. 123 on the way to Ohanapecosh.

I'm on the fence about posting this on ESS. Is it interesting enough?

Or perhaps a more intimate crop?

It's a lovely falls, Joe, either way you look at it. It's a straightforward comp, good light, good water flow, nice flow with the chosen ss and attractively framed by the trees. Sure, put 'em both up on ESS and see what they say.

I'd vote for the intimate crop Joe. That's a wonderful falls, but that darn log (our common plague around here) distracts some in the wider view.

I like the crop view, Joe. I like the closeness you chose, the water flow and the framing of the different shades of green.

Nice one Joe---is you have Nik Viveza --try and bring out the shadow in the upper right---you can also do this with a mack but Viveza is easier.... JG

Very nice image Joe. I just saw this over in the landscape forum and really enjoyed it. The bright green leaves really pop against the darker background and I like the braided appearance of the falls. I might consider brightening the shadows in the URC as suggested by Jack.

Thanks all for the input. Here's a version with the shadows opened up in the URC.
