The July 2012 edition of Nature Photographers Online Magazine is now ready for your viewing!
This month's stunning cover photo of a sandstone slot canyon is by NPN member Yiming Hu. This photo has been selected by Apple to showcase the incredible details and vibrant colors of the Retina display of the new Macbook Pro laptop computer they have just announced. Congratulations to Yiming for having his photo selected!
Alain Briot serves up some insight on how good photography needs to be more than just craft and technique in the age of countless digital photographers. Be sure to check out his latest essay Why Personal Style is Important.
Guy Tal is not only a master landscape photographer (I hope Guy doesn't mind that term!), but also a master of words that bring his readers along on his treks into the American southwest. Set some time aside to experience Small Joys.
In his first appearance in NPN's online magazine, member Jason Keefe offers some sage advice that is useful to all nature photographers - Tunnel Vision: Avoid it at All Costs. Our thanks to Jason for submitting this article!
Finally, Paul W. Faust is back with another round of book reviews that are of interest to all who appreciate nature photos and enjoy nature photography.
Our thanks to this month's contributors to this 148th monthly edition of Nature Photographers Online Magazine - we hope you enjoy it!
