Stacked Burnet Moths.+3D
If you want to try stacking then these are the guys to practice on !
Went out before tea and found these, and took a load of stacked sequences. Had tea and then started processing- all rubbish.
Went back out and they were still there. Did a load more lots and that was at twenty past eight !
Much better but not what I wanted.
These nearly always feed on Knapweed and usually rest on it in the evening and are common.

Great stacking work here JR and that BG is sumptuous! Hope you get what you are after but I would be delighted with this!

Excellent stacking technique. Great 3D effect, although the colours are problematic using an anaglyph. I've been experimenting with animated GIFs, but they can't be downloaded on here.

As David has mentioned the colours look a little washed out on the 3D but the results are great with the glasses on. TFS.

Stacking AND and anaglyph in a single shot. Don't see that on here everyday. Great picture, but at the risk of sounding heretical, I prefer the 2D shot for the colours.

Thanks
Yes the colours in the anaglyphs will always be off - especially at the red end of the spectrum- basically because of the way the programme works with the red /grteen glasses. Even then the 3D will never be as vibrant as the basic shots. Don't forget the 3D's must be viewed with red/green glasses .

Heres another 3D with the colours played around with. Any better ? I,ve cheated by selectively boosting the red/green and a bit of levels.

The second version is a big improvement, John, but neither match the 2D posting.
