...Fly on snail shell with dandelion seedling.

I've renewed my subscription for another year, so I will be boring you all with even more anaglyphs now that I have completed the
raised beds in my garden.

I was sitting on my garden bench contemplating my cabbages, which are coming on great, apart from one that has been decimated by slugs and/or snails, which I don't mind as I've witnessed a song thrush
eating a snail on three occasions over the last week. I've managed a 3D photograph but it is too small in the frame to show here. Anyway I digress...I was sitting on my seat when I noticed this fly alight on an empty banded snail (yellow form) shell by my foot. I love serendipitous moments like this especially when I have my camera with me.

As usual red/cyan glasses to view in 3D
Fujifilm W3 3D camera plus Cyclopital macro attachment and Marumi +3 macro lens
Sigma flash (diffused)

Thanks for looking, it's good to be back.

Thanks John. Even with a reduction in the price of a passport, I won't be emigrating, after all my efforts over the last few weeks.

Here's an anaglyph of that chewed up cabbage, it's even worse today.

Welcome back David, hope all is well with you and your cabbages! Both images are superb and I love the story about the fly landing at your feet on the snail shell. TFS.

Good to have you back, David, and I really like the cabbage picture, even if, as a gardener, it is not what you want to see.

Hi David, you certainly don't choose conventional subjects  I still can't view in 3D I'm afraid but I look forward to seeing what you come up with next.
