D7000 105mm f2.8 macro + TC14e ISO 250 1/100s at f9 tripod and cable release.

Common hawker (male) found early yesterday morning whilst out for Ringlets. Very lucky to find him so early in the day and I spent over an hour taking different images. The lower left hand wing has some remains of some liquid of some type and does detract from the image a little but then again it is natural and they can't all be pefect. Also note the two midges sat on the right hand lower wing which I decided to leave rather than clone them out as they give a sense of scale to the hawker. The humble Scottish midge is the bane of my life on still mornings and literally drive me insane to the point where I have to physically move away from the camera to get some respite from their biting and also to lure them from the shoot location as they cause problems with brown blurs on the image when flying in front of the lens. All C+C warmly welcomed as always.

Looks ok to me. Hard one to crop I reckon.

Lovely, clean shot. I agree with John that is is a hard one to crop. Personally I would opt for a portrait crop, but it is very marginal.

An excellent shot with oodles of detail. No nits from me apart from lacking the extra D

Very nice, like the colours and details, if you could have gone back a tad this image would have been best in portrait I feel, giving more room top and bottom.Very nice  :wavey:
