A hike to Blue Lake (Brainard Lake Rec Area)
Last Saturday, I went to Brainard Lake Recreation Area for a hike to Blue Lake. Had an excellent time and was able to capture some great images (IMO).

A others are located in my Flickr galleries:

The angled reflections of the clouds are nice to lead the eyes to the center of the image. Maybe a little crop off the botton to above your emblem so it not 50/50 and yet retain the angled reflections. You can post a little larger to 800pix wide, 300kb.

Thanks Doug.

I'll see what your suggestions net. I've tried images a bit larger and have not had much luck, but will see if 300kb & 800px or less will be accepted...:)

Here's another image from that hike. :)

Cropped the original "Blue Lake" image and exported a bit larger size.

The sky is awesome. If this were mine just for the heck of it I would try a B&W conversion and mess with some selective dodging and burning.

Thanks Jeff. I'll do a conversion and mess about with dodge/burn.

So, what say you about the B+W version?
