I receive a lot of requests from photographers who are planning visits to Rocky Mountain National Park. They need to know where to shoot and when to be there. After answering so many of these e-mails I decided that it would just be easier to write a little book. So, that’s what I did. It contains 100 pages of information that will help those who are not familiar with Rocky. It covers 30 primary locations and a number of side locations near them. Most of these areas are easily accessible since this book is designed for your average photographer not your Jack Brauer or Kane Engelbert type.
Right now I've just released the PDF version which works very well on tablets and personal computers. In the next couple of weeks I'll hope to have a printed version available which I'll sell through my website and gallery as well as numerous locations in and around Rocky Mountain National Park. I'd love to hear your comments and suggestions!
Congrats, Erik! For those who might be interested I got a sneak peek at this before Erik released it and I can assure you it's chock full of great information. I'll definitely be using it on my next trip to Rocky.
Thanks guys! Bill, I am considering doing another one later that will be more in-depth and cover more back-country locations. It might be a while before I get to it as I have several other books that I plan to do before that.

Thanks again for taking time to have lunch with me yesterday. I had a great time talking life and photography.
At some point, I hope you consider expanding it to include longer day hikes.
