Due to the hot conditions, I haven't been out as much as I'd like with a camera lately. But I did manage to get a few shots of the grape harvest in Altus. This year is the earliest they have ever started since they have been keeping records (132 years), running about 20 days ahead of schedule. It's probably a good thing, because many would have dried up before they were ready due to the extreme heat and lack of moisture.
Neat shots, Bill, I like the backlit grapes also. Man you are correct about this heat, hard to get motivated to shoot. I am thinking about heading to Colorado soon.

Now you're talking ... grapes on the vine are right up my alley. Nice job Bill. And the heat has me down too. I'm sure there is something out there worth shooting I just can't bring myself to care right now. Thanks for sharing.
NIce images, Bill. I especially like the backlighting on that second image.

Very nice Bill. You are making the best out of a bad situation. I have been shooting sunflowers, bees, and humming birds. This drought has me feeding hay every other day. Not cool!

I know what you mean about the heat, it's hard to get out very much.
