ID Needed: Malaysia
Sorry, this may be a bit more obscure than the usual ID requests, but I know a few of you have been to Borneo before. Presumably, this is some sort of spiderhunter or sunbird, but I'm not quite sure, and the sex is a mystery to me as well.

Sunbird for sure... If it was from Indian sub-continent I would've say Purple Throated SunBird female, but for Malaysian Borneo area its just a guess. Hope you find the right ID.

Butch, thanks. You got me going in the right direction. I believe it may be a female brown-throated sunbird, based on some of the other photos I'm seeing. This helped me correctly identify the males I had photographed as well, which were misidentified by my guide.
