Kyle Krause and I spent 3-4 days there in 1993, what an incredible experience. A bucket-list adventure if you're a wildlife photographer - or fisherman!
This webcam shows the view right from the viewing platform. Get's addicting, I've seen as many as 12 bears at once. When I was there in person, I saw as many as 25 brown bears at one time in and around these falls.
I know this is a shameless plug, but it's not very often I've shared my images from this once in a lifetime trip to Alaska. Here are some of those images with quite a few bear images from Brooks Falls.
I'm not a well traveled man, but this was an unforgettable experience for me.

ps. however or whomever operates the camera (remotely I'm sure) will change the angle of view, zoom etc. and often follow a bear around. Most of the time it's static if nothing is happening.
pss. excuse the image quality - all those 35mm images, mostly Velvia pushed a stop, were badly processed using PhotoImpact before I new anything about PS. I've never re-worked any of them.

That's so cool that I have trouble believing that it's live. 7 bears right now! (11:21 EST)

Having stood on that platform for 8-10hr stretches over 4 days, I can tell you that cam is live. If you check out the "about" area beneath and click on the "profiles of the brown bears...." there's some great and detailed info. There are over 100 Brown Bears that frequent the area during the salmon run.
