Thanks to all for your comments on my previous post.

A colourful BG on this one (buttercups), which might not be to everyone's taste.

MkIV, 500 f4 + 1.4x, iso640, 1/200

Needs to be seen large to fully appreciate the stunning details on this one Graham and whilst the smaller version looks a tad over saturated the larger one looks fine on my lappie. I never know which way to crop these shots where the bird is looking back over its shoulder. Personally I would have less room to the right and I would be very interested to know what others think about that. Would love this one in my collecion Graham.

Yet again the larger version pops a WOW factor.

Graham i'm not one that gets it right re cropping but the way the bird is looking maybe a bit more on the left and a little less on the right, just my personal choice, the bird itself looks superb and i do like your Buttercup bg,wish it was mine.

Cracking photo, but I'd tone the saturation down a tad! Minor nit otherwise, as I like the comp. Its different for sure. :toast: :toast: :toast:

Cracking detail Graham. I am ok with the comp but I would tone down the BG saturation

I would like to see a little bit more post and I think I would tone down the saturation a bit, otherwise super shot :toast: :toast:
