Standard Crane
A standard portrait of a common crane from Sweden this March.

24hrs in a tiny uncomfortable hide (en-suite bucket  ) was interesting but painful (why do hide builders put all the hole on one level and if they do can the please make it at a height that is not too high to sit on the floor and to low to kneel. I ended up taking almost all the photos with the camera upside give an extra couple of inches so I could sit on the floor.

Any comments tips and advice gratefully received

Looks pretty good to me, perhaps a smidgen sharper for this size would be nice.

I really like the graduated BG on this Ian and the subject is one that I am envious of. I like the pose caught too - your persistance and discomfort certainly paid off :toast:
