A Lightningless Garden of the Gods
Believe it or not, when this rainbow was at its peak, there were some impressive lightning bolts behind it, but I failed to capture them. Mostly because I was annoyed by the drunk rednecks parked nearby with their truck doors open blasting -- and drunkenly singing along to -- "Sgt. Pepper" at max volume. Hey, I love the Beatles, and music in general, but I'd never impose my musical tastes on an entire park like these buttholes did.

This is a four-shot stitch, since I (once again) walked away from the truck without my 17mm.

It's too bad you didn't get some sweet light on some of the sandstone to go along with the killer double rainbow. Oh wait, you did. Sah-weet!

Here's a shot from a few minutes earlier, when the rainbow and it's double were stronger.

WOW! Though you got an unexpected soundtrack to your light show, I think the visit was more than worth it!

Oh, that's cool. Great shots despite the side show you had to endure!
