I believe this is a Western Wood-Pewee, but an Olive sided Flycatcher also looks possible. Taken in the South Puget Sound area of Washington in the edges of a riparian Garry Oak forest this morning. It was hawking from branches 20-40 feet high. Call a single loud pzeet.

Thanks a bunch,

:wavey:

Regardless love the second post.

looks good for Western Wood-Pewee to me, Dennis. An Olive-sided has a stronger streaky vested look and a heavier bill.

Western Wood-Peewee, Dennis. To the field marks Brian mention add the absence of white wing bars.
