Bird on a wire
D7000 500mm f4 ISO 320 1/800s at f8 from car window on beanbag.

Young Twite one of a small flock feeding in a coastal field that frequently came and sat on the wire fencing and always on the wire and never a post. Many thanks for all your comments on my buterfly image. All C+C warmly welcomed.

Nicely positioned within the frame. A good, clean shot.

Simple and very effective Nick, would consider dropping the Yellow in the whites of the plumage as a selective adjustment. I think graphically it might be better if the wire was straight as the lines, crop, juxtaposition of the subject might have more impact, just a thought?

Excellent. Prefer the wire sloping a bit too.
Not seen a Twite for years !

Good strong image Nick :toast: :toast:

I'd agree about cleaning the colour up on the bird itself but it's a belter.

Nice clean image and BG. I agree with Steve on the straight wire having more impact
