Coming across this got me motivated to repair the pool which was recently destroyed in the floods. Seems like there's not much else to do anyway.!

Do I see a hint of a reflection, John?

The yellow plumage looks a little funny in the second version, John. However, it may just be that I am looking at it on my uncalibrated works monitor.

No its the picture David. Its just the dappled sunlight ( wow)has caught the yellow in the first place and me darkening it has made it look odd. You can see the same effect on the water highlights. Not worth messing with.

Prefer the first image JR and I like the visible feet of the bird, very neat image!

Thanks all
.One way of testing a monitor. Put a pic on with something obvious that stands out, for example the yellow in this first one,and see if everyone agrees !!
