Snowy Summer
Been busy trying to save my hand from more surgery and havent had much time for photos--but i did manage to get away for a couple days to hit the Snowy Range. Id seen so many shots of Lake Marie here that it was on my list. I targeted the only days that looked decent for sunset/rise; here are some highlights. As an aside, the beetle kill was horrendous, ill post some of that later cause more photos of our dead forests need to be published
Here's Sugarloaf at sunset Sunday.

Beautiful series Stan, I prefer #1 myself. Nice work , as usual!

Inspiring Stan! I think for composition I like #3 the best, for light #2 and for overall attractiveness #1. I'll be up there with my family this weekend for the first time as the first stop on our vacation. Thanks for getting me fired up!

As always it's nice to see your posts Stan. These are some nice alpine images and they all do a good job motivating me to get to the mountains. The Landscape Gallery image you posted is the clear winner of the bunch.

Of the ones you have posted, I prefer your image in ESS. That ridge lit up a nice red.

What Doug said. But I like #'s 1 & 3 quite a bit, too.
