PPA vs. Package Choice

Is anybody familiar with insurance through Package Choice. I got a quote that seems pretty amazing. But it's a "Package" including stuff I don't need but also including everything I do need for $400/yr. Insurance through eithe PPA or NANPA's Rand insurance seem reliable and popular but are more expensive than the Package Choice insurance. But I don't want to go with a company that I'm unfamiliar with...without first getting some opinions. It's apparently endorsed by NAPP?

I'm not familiar with it, but we have used the PPA version for over 20 years. Sad to say, we've had multiple occasions to test their gear coverage  but found it flawless and fair. We use their liability insurance too, both on our studio and our work offsite. We're required to have it at a fairly high level of coverage ($2 mil per person per incident) for some of our contract photography. The rates for that coverage are the best we could find anywhere.

Downside is the high cost of membership in PPA, unless you need and regularly use the other PPA services. We get our moneys worth there too, but the added cost might be a nonstarter for anyone not using their membership services. We've always looked over WPPI's insurance for comparison since we're members there too, but found they didn't quite do the job of PPA.

Dunno if my ramble is helpful, but hopefully there are seeds for thoughts or comparison in there somewhere. :jump:
