Bedroom Question .... Sunflower Pano?
Since I asked a bathroom question last summer, I'll ask a bedroom question this summer ;-)

I'm looking through my photos for something that could go above the bed, which seems to call for either a triptych or pano. I'm considering this, which has good warmth and would look good with the colors in the room. It initially had a somewhat gritty utilitarian look about it in RAW (according to my significant other), so I added some glamour glow work in Nik Color Efex.

I'm wondering, however, whether sunflowers are symbolically utilitarian at a fundamental level. Any thoughts? What do you see, feel when you look at this image? I have a weakness for color, and I need insights on its other effects.

Also, I'm wondering whether a centered flower center, with petals rising (like the sun) would be a sunnier composition. Insights appreciated....

My thoughts...I go to Costco...get a 30 inch ...or pano...which they will print if they are not hammered by workload. Then post it in a place that you'll look at it every day....for a couple months. If YOU still like it...then it has that elusive "staying power"...then print big, frame it for the bedroom and be happy. Due diligence...to YOUR standards and eye.

I don't have any philosophical thoughts about sunflowers, but I really like the photo. Ken's suggestion of trying a smaller print to see if it works for YOU before going big is a good idea.

Thanks, Ken and Steve. Great suggestion. I always forget about the cheap print option.
