Hey everyone, I figured it was time to stop in and post a few more images to share. I've been out in the mountains a lot this summer, certainly more than any other summer I've lived here. I have taken a lot of images but I think I've only had one really good sunrise/sunset per month. I was certainly hoping for more but I've tried to make the best of it. Anyway, here are a few images. I'd love to hear your comments or suggestions. Hope all of you are getting out to enjoy this wonderful time of year!

#4 One from Trail Ridge Road. I know this one isn't great but this is something we all see when we are up there, the arrival of the evening shadow.

Love the alpenglow in # 2. Beautiful images Erik!

Erik, #1 and 3 are my picks. For #1, I like the inclusion of the rock in the lrc. In #3 lily image, the pine needle? is a little distracting, but I like the rings right next to it.

Thanks guys! Doug, I agree with you about that pine needle. It was too far out in the water for me to get it so I just figured I'd live with it. :frown:

1 & 2 are outstanding. Summer has been good to you.

Erik, those are phenomenal. Lilly pad shot might be my favorite. Very Zen.

Really nice shots! I really like #1 and # 2. #1 has some beautiful lighting and clouds ...very serene. In #2 I like the way the clouds mimic the shape of the flowing river and the awesome color on the mountain.

Really good stuff as always but the lily pad is the clear winner in my book. Unique, clean, beautiful. The needle does not bother me. My next favorite may actually be #4; it evokes more feeling and it does tell a story, though #1 is also wonderful. Anyway, you seem to be getting some really good stuff even w/o those sunsets and sunrises we live for! Thanks for sharing!

Great series Erik! I really dig the first two.

#1, #2, and #4 are my favorites here. Like always, I've been enjoying the photos from up there, especially since I haven't been up there this whole year (it's awful...and I'm not THAT far away)! The first image has some pretty nifty lighting. Not necessarily dramatic, but calm and peaceful. I like that...

The first two are just extraordinary, Erik! The others are merely very good. :toast:
