Another image from the Snowy Range. This is Lookout Lake and was taken in June. I had suspected and been told that this lake is often completely frozen over at July 4th. Well after a light snow winter and a dry/hot spring the snow was very light in the Snowys and I only found a few pieces of ice floating on Lookout Lake.
This is a morning shot that, as always, I hoped for great clouds. However, yet again, I got clear skies. I keep hoping that one of these times I will not only get to the Snowys, but I get great clouds at Sunrise too.
I like the perspective and composition with this. I noticed on your blog that you didn't get the lighting you'd hoped for but, hey, that's just one more reason to go back!!

Another beautiful shot from a great series, Darren. I think my favorite has been your second shot from Lake Marie. Thanks for sharing!
